Reverb or delay may also appear because those effects were blended into the original mix. When a voice shares the same frequencies and space as an instrument, faint instrumental bleed can remain.

The drums stem groups the detected rhythm kit, including sounds such as kick, snare, cymbals, toms, and percussion. It is one combined drum track rather than a set of individual microphone channels. Producers can use it to study a groove, test a different instrumental balance, or build an edit around the original rhythm. Dense distortion, room ambience, and low-frequency overlap with bass can make some drum elements audible in neighboring stems.

Bass

The bass stem focuses on the low-end musical line, whether it comes from bass guitar, synth bass, or another sustained low-frequency instrument. It can help musicians hear note movement, lock practice to the rhythm section, or compare how the bass supports chord changes. Kick drums and bass often occupy similar frequencies, so complete separation is not always possible. Other instruments

The other stem contains the remaining accompaniment, which may include guitars, piano, keyboards, strings, synths, brass, and sound effects. It does not split every named instrument into its own file; those parts stay grouped as one track. This stem is useful as a backing layer, an arrangement reference, or a source for edits that keep the harmony while reducing vocals or rhythm elements. Complex layers may also leave traces in the vocal, drum, or bass outputs.
